Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber/Heating and Ventilating Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment across commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances with precision and attention to detail
- Assemble HVAC components such as ductwork, vents, and heating units using hand tools and power tools
- Use welding techniques to join metal pipes or components when necessary for system integrity
- Conduct inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Operate heavy lifting equipment and carry out physical tasks involving heavy lifting to handle materials safely
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams to accurately execute installations
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during installation processes
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing installation or repair work within commercial or residential settings
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, screwdrivers, and pliers; familiarity with power tools is essential
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, piping layouts, and assembly techniques
- Ability to perform welding tasks confidently when required for pipe joining or repairs
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and building standards
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined or elevated spaces comfortably
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities (if applicable)
- Carpentry skills are a plus for framing or supporting structures during installations
