Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. This is a self employed role where you’ll be working as the leading fitter on an install and have my apprentice working with you most of the time (if/when needed.) You’ll be working in customer houses so must be polite and respectful.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry and kitchen fitting techniques, demonstrating skill in both hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring that all fittings and assemblies meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and technical drawings.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks, including carpentry, joinery, and kitchen fitting. Plumbing would also be preferred
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe handling of materials.
- Plumbing tasks (taps, sinks, washing appliances)
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in kitchen fitting and carpentry is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, carpentry, joinery, plumbing is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is required.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship will be crucial for success in this role.
Must have own van and tools.
