WenLin Chinese School is looking for a high-energy, confident teacher to lead our early years Mandarin classes (ages 1–4).
Our lessons are fast-paced, interactive, and performance-based, combining:
- music and movement
- storytelling and role-play
- hands-on activities
The candidate should possess native-level proficiency in the Chinese language.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- naturally engages young children through voice, movement and expression
- enjoys being active, energetic and expressive in front of a class
- is confident leading both children and parents in a session
Essential Requirements
- Fluent Standard Mandarin
- Experience working with young children (ages 1–5)
- Strong presence and confidence leading a group
- High energy and full engagement throughout the session
- Reliable and able to commit weekly long-term
Preferred
- Background in Early Years / Music / Drama / Education
- Experience in leading baby/toddler classes (e.g. music, dance, nursery)
- Creative and proactive in classroom delivery
Working Hours
- Saturdays (term time only)
- Teaching: 9:00am – 11:00am
- Arrival: 8:30am (setup)
- Finish: After lesson, including tidying

- actively engage every child throughout the lesson
