Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in janitorial services, domestic, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces to high standards
- Ensure all surfaces are free of dust, dirt, and stains using appropriate cleaning agents
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as window washing or carpet cleaning when required
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Assist with organising supplies and keeping storage areas tidy
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning environments is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques suitable for hotels or large-scale facilities is advantageous
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment and tools efficiently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Basic cooking or customer service experience can be beneficial in roles that involve hospitality settings
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
