The Party Team Leader is responsible for the smooth planning, preparation and delivery of all parties across the site, ensuring every guest enjoys a consistently high‑quality experience. Acting as the key link between party bookings, party hosts and the management team, this role ensures excellent organisation, communication and execution from initial enquiry through to post‑event follow‑up.
The Party Team Leader maintains high standards, proactively resolves issues, supports the Duty Management team, and ensures all parties are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with company expectations.
Complete weekly guest list checks and ensure all party bookings are accurate and up to date
Prepare and distribute party sheets and event documentation for management review
Communicate all special requirements, dietary needs, allergies and customer requests clearly and promptly
Monitor party stock levels and submit weekly stock orders
Maintain accurate records of party numbers, attendance and reporting requirements
Ensure all party resources, equipment and supplies are organised, stocked and ready for service
Produce and circulate the Weekly Party Overview to the management team
Highlight upcoming parties, special requirements, operational risks and support needs
Flag weekday parties or events requiring additional management cover
Identify any periods where Party Team Leader cover will be off‑site and ensure effective handover arrangements
Communicate customer concerns, unusual requests or potential complaints in advance
Lead the delivery of parties to ensure excellent guest satisfaction
Support, coach and supervise Party Hosts during service
Ensure parties run on time and to agreed standards
Monitor cleanliness, presentation and readiness of party rooms and party areas
Ensure all equipment, crockery and party materials are cleaned, stored and maintained correctly
Address guest concerns promptly, professionally and in line with company standards
Provide day‑to‑day leadership and support for the Party Team
Deliver training, coaching and performance feedback to Party Hosts
Support rota planning and staffing requirements where needed
Escalate staffing concerns, performance issues or operational risks to management
Help maintain a positive, motivated and professional team culture
Ensure all food hygiene, health & safety and operational procedures are followed
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all party areas
Ensure safe setup, service and clear‑down of all party events
Support compliance with company policies and safeguarding procedures where relevant
Strong organisation and time‑management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Confident team leadership and motivation skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Experience in hospitality, leisure, events or party operations (preferred)
Confident in handling customer concerns and problem‑solving
