The Role
Ravensbourne is seeking to recruit an International Student Support Officer.
In this role, you will primarily focus on providing assistance to international students alongside our other team members. From enrolment to graduation, you will support and engage with international students, both online and in person. You will play a lead role in delivering induction presentations to new students as well as working with other teams such as the Student Union to collaborate on events. It is essential that you have an understanding of current student visa processes and are comfortable in a student-facing position dealing with enquiries.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to serve as a vital point of contact for students studying abroad for the first time. Your role will contribute to their growth and learning within our exciting, diverse, and exceptional educational setting.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate is an empathetic, proactive professional, ideally with a background in higher education or high-volume customer service. You are able to communicate complex information clearly to students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. The successful candidate will possess strong judgement and administrative skills and be comfortable supporting students as they navigate their life in the UK.
