Join our dynamic team as a University Student Accommodation Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students living on campus. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure communal spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas are spotless and hygienic, promoting well-being and comfort for all students.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of student accommodation rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas using commercial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
Experience
- Previous University Student accommodation or commercial cleaning experience is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to efficiently manage daily tasks
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members
