Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Part Time Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including delivery vans , adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries or pickups
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as tyre pressure, oil levels, and fluid top-ups
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered
- Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle inspections
- Report any vehicle faults or accidents promptly to the management team
Experience
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance is advantageous
- a valid driver’s licence (category appropriate for the vehicle)
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
