About Us
Haus Maids was founded in Farnham in 2012 and has grown steadily ever since into a network of professional home cleaning businesses across the UK - from Surrey and Hampshire out to Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire and Buckinghamshire.
Every office in the network is owned and run by a local Director, and Farnham is where it all began. It remains the largest office in the network, looking after more than 400 regular households every week.
You'd be joining that original office: a small, local team with a well-established name behind it and the backing of a national brand.
What you'll actually be doing
Winning new customers
- Responding quickly to enquiries by phone, email and web form
- Answering the phone and having a warm, confident conversation about what we do
- Booking quote appointments into Director's diary
- Chasing enquiries that went quiet, and following up quotes that haven't yet been accepted
- Keeping our CRM accurate so nothing slips through
Who we're looking for
You do not need experience in cleaning. You do need to be the kind of person who picks up the phone rather than letting it ring, and who genuinely enjoys talking to people.
Essential
- Confident and warm on the phone, including with people who didn't expect your call
- Well organised - you'll be juggling a lot of follow-ups and can't afford to lose track
- Comfortable with computers, email and CRM systems
- Accurate written English for customer emails
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to work from our Farnham office, 9am–3pm, Monday to Friday
Helpful, but not essential
- Experience in sales, customer service, telesales, estate agency, recruitment or reception
- Experience following up leads or working to a target
What you'll get
- £24,000 per year for a 30-hour week
- Bonus scheme - Paid each time the business reaches an agreed customer-growth milestone. This is realistically worth £2,500–£5,000 a year on top of your salary, and the targets are based on levels this business has already achieved

You'll be working directly with our Sales & Marketing Director in a small, close team where what you do is visible and it matters. If you're good at this, you'll see it in the numbers within a month.
