As Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered across all departments. You'll lead by example, support and inspire the team, resolve guest queries with confidence, and help create memorable stays for every visitor.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the hotel staff to ensure smooth operations, especially in the absence of the General Manager, & Assistant General Manager.
- Provide outstanding guest service by addressing guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Oversee front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries, when required.
- Support human resources functions such as staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all departments.
- Assist in managing emergency situations or unforeseen incidents with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Lead by example to foster a positive work environment centred on teamwork and hospitality excellence.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- To have a strong focus on Food & Beverage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Previous hotel experience is highly advantageous.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to staff management and development.
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in managing daily operations.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by operational demands.
- This role will include working weekends, evenings, Bank Holiday's, Christmas etc

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
