RADGAW is looking for an experienced Aluminium Window & Door Installer to join our award-winning installation team.
Previous hands-on experience with aluminium installations is essential for this position.
We are not looking for someone who has predominantly fitted uPVC and would like to learn aluminium. We're looking for an experienced installer who already understands aluminium systems, tolerances, adjustment, glazing and the level of precision these products demand.

The Role
You'll be installing a wide variety of premium aluminium products in customers' homes, including:
- Aluminium windows
- Aluminium entrance doors
- Aluminium bifolding doors
- Large sliding patio door systems
- Internal aluminium and steel-look doors
- Aluminium screens and glazed systems
- Large-format and specialist glazing
- Bespoke aluminium installations
Our projects range from individual premium doors and windows through to substantial whole-house and bespoke glazing projects.
This isn't volume new-build site work.
Our customers have invested in premium products and quite rightly expect a premium installation.
Aluminium Experience Is Essential
Please only apply if you have genuine previous experience installing aluminium window and door systems.
You should already understand:
- Accurate positioning, levelling and fixing of aluminium frames
- Correct tolerances, packing and installation methods
- Aluminium bifold installation and adjustment
- Sliding door installation and adjustment
- Glazing and toe-and-heeling where applicable
- Thresholds, cills, drainage and weathering
- Finishing and sealing to a high standard
- Diagnosing and correcting installation or adjustment issues
- Protecting premium products and customers' properties throughout installation
Experience installing products from leading aluminium manufacturers would be particularly advantageous.
About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in being a professional installer, not simply someone who can fit a window.
You'll understand the technical demands of aluminium products and the importance of accuracy, adjustment and a high-quality finished installation.
Essential
- Proven aluminium window and door installation experience
- Experience installing aluminium bifold and/or sliding door systems
- Strong technical installation knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
- High-quality finishing standards
- Ability to diagnose and resolve installation issues
- Professional attitude when working in customers' homes
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively as part of an installation team
- Commitment to Health & Safety
- Full UK Driving Licence
Advantageous
- Experience with premium aluminium systems
- Experience with large-format sliding doors and glazing
- Experience with internal steel-look aluminium systems
- Relevant installation qualifications
- MTC or equivalent industry competency
- PASMA or other relevant training
