Job Summary
At Emmaus Village Carlton people who have experienced, or been at risk of homelessness, find a place where they can enjoy companionship and support.
We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to join our team in a brand new role supporting our Gift Aid income generation.
This role will be based near our Drop Off area and is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by helping Emmaus increase the funds that can be reclaimed from HMRC, directly supporting our work.
Duties
- Liaising with the public to ascertain if they have signed up for Gift Aid
- Signing up individuals for Gift Aid (training will be provided)
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with members of the public
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to volunteering regularly
