Job Title: Dual Service Officer
Location: The Galleries
Pay Rate: £13.75
Hours: 40 hours per week average
As a Dual Service Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of The Galleries, its tenants and customers.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Liaising with members of the public / Contractors / Retailers
- Patrol the shopping area / Car Park / Back of House providing proactive security
- Assist retailers with Shoplifters, aggressive customers etc.
- Maintain the Car Park Machinery and rectifying faults
- Respond to emergency situations when they arise (Fire Alarm, First Aid etc.)
- Accurately report all incidents in accordance with site procedures
- Performing regular health and safety checks
- Carry out Control Room Duties (including System Monitoring / Access Control / Equipment control / CCTV Duties)
- Carry out other duties as per site requirements (Cleaning duties, event duties etc.)
- Provide Proactive support to the Centre's Management team as required
Experience/Skill Requirements - Essential:
- Security: 1 year (preferred)
- CCTV (required)
- SIA (required)
- Flexible and willing to learn procedures
- A highly motivated individual
- Ability to work well within our team as well as to work unsupervised
