Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and flair
- Take food orders accurately and deliver them promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving practices
- Manage cash transactions efficiently using basic math skills, ensuring accuracy in billing and change handling
- Follow food safety standards diligently to uphold hygiene regulations and prevent contamination
- Assist in setting up the bar before service and closing down at the end of shifts, including restocking supplies
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within a bar or restaurant setting
- Strong serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Effective time management to handle multiple orders during busy periods seamlessly
- Basic math skills for handling payments accurately and managing tabs confidently
