Common Area Cleaner
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Common Area Cleaner to join our team and contribute to the overall cleanliness and appeal of our developments.
Working Hours: 12-18 hours per week across 2-3 days. No weekends
Responsibilities:
· Execute regular weekly cleaning tasks in common areas, including hallways, entrances, elevators, staircases, and communal spaces. This involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces to ensure a tidy and presentable atmosphere.
· Communicate Effectively: Work with team members to coordinate cleaning tasks, address specific cleaning needs, and ensure a seamless operation.
· Adhere to Safety Guidelines: Follow established safety protocols and procedures to protect both yourself and others during cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
· Previous Experience: Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred, but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
· Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and an understanding of the importance of maintaining high cleanliness standards.
· Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Must be able to carry an 8kg load.
· Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are crucial to ensure consistent cleaning schedules are met.
· Positive Attitude: A friendly and approachable demeanour, promoting a welcoming environment for residents.
· Initiative: Demonstrates a proactive approach to work and takes responsibility for the cleanliness and presentation of common areas.
We operate across Ayrshire, Glasgow and Lanarkshire. Great working hours with average shift length 9-330pm.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
