We are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join our team and play a key role in inspecting, sorting, and preparing returned products for the next stage. You will help maintain high-quality standards and support smooth operations for a leading online retailer.
Role Overview
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for processing returned items from customers. Your role involves carefully inspecting returned products for damages or defects, sorting them into appropriate categories, and preparing them for onward handling. You will also operate industrial cleaning machines to treat minor stains and ensure all items meet our quality expectations.

· Overtime £17.76/h AM -shift; £19.51/h -PM shift; £20.91/h- Nights
· Fixed shift AM 06:00-14:00 / PM 14:00-22:00 / Nights 22:00-06:00
· Location: Kettering, NN14
· Duration: Ongoing Full-Time Role
· You will be given a 12-week rota and be expected to work 5 days from 7 including weekends, with the opportunity to work additional hours and days
Key Responsibilities
Returns Processor
- Inspect returned products for any damages or defects.
- Sort and assign items to the correct processing areas.
- Pack items accurately for further processing.
- Use computer systems to log and manage customer returns.
- Stand and remain active during an 8-hour shift.
Spot Cleaner
- Operate industrial cleaning machines to remove small stains or marks from items.
- Inspect cleaned products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Report any items needing further attention or removal.

Pay Rates and Shifts
Shifts:
You will work 5 days out of 7, choosing from the following shift patterns:
- AM Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
- £12.21 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- £13.21 per hour (Saturday and Sunday)
- Overtime Pay:
- £15.26 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- £16.26 per hour (Saturday and Sunday)
- PM Shift: 14:00 - 22:00
- £13.86 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- £14.86 per hour (Saturday and Sunday)
- Overtime Pay:
- £16.91 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- £17.91 per hour (Saturday and Sunday)
