Restaurant Manager

About the Role
Marzano Italian is looking for an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and help deliver the outstanding hospitality we're known for.
This is a practical, floor-based management role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You'll be responsible for leading by example, maintaining exceptional service standards, motivating a well-established team, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Administrative duties form part of the role but are kept to a minimum, allowing you to focus on where you make the biggest impact—on the restaurant floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the day-to-day operation of the restaurant. Inspire, motivate, and develop a well-established front-of-house team. Maintain exceptional standards of customer service, cleanliness, and presentation. Manage multiple priorities effectively during busy service periods. Lead by example with a positive, energetic, and professional attitude. Build and maintain strong relationships with our regular guests while ensuring every customer receives a warm welcome. Monitor service standards and drive continuous improvement across the restaurant. Support staff training, coaching, and performance management. Work closely with the kitchen and wider management team to ensure smooth daily operations. Complete essential administrative tasks, including rotas, stock control, and reporting, as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 2–3 years' experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role. Is a natural leader with a strong work ethic and excellent team-building skills. Has an energetic, positive personality and enjoys leading from the front. Remains calm, organised, and decisive in a busy service environment. Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Can motivate others while maintaining high standards across all areas of the restaurant. Builds genuine relationships with both guests and colleagues. Has excellent communication and organisational skills. Is flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
