Up to £35,000 a year basic salary based on experience with weekly tips
The Fox and Barrel is a country pub restaurant and bar. The pub reopened early May 2019, after a major £1m refurbishment, including a brand new state of the art, 200 square foot kitchen, with an additional £400,000 that has been spent on our new informal dining area 'HIDE at the fox and barrel'
Our Food philosophy:
Everything is made in house using fresh seasonal produce. Daily and seasonally changing menus allow constant creativity as well as perfecting plenty of pub classics with a modern twist.
The role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate chef who wants to learn and further their career and understanding to join this talented brigade.
This is a 4 day week contract. Holidays paid and also Christmas day and new years eve night off.
Experience:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate and have a great eye for detail and presentation. You should have a couple of year's experience under your belt in a similar role, but the most important thing to us the the right attitude, with a willingness to learn and work well in a team.
