We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong flair for hairstyling and beauty treatments, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating stylish cuts, colours, and specialised treatments, while also providing personalised advice to clients. Responsibilities
- Providing professional hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments
- Offering personalised consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the salon environment
- Assisting with front desk duties such as appointment scheduling and client check-in
- Mentoring junior staff or apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge
- Upselling additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or hair care products
- Managing store operations efficiently, including stock replenishment and product display organisation
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
- Staying updated on the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling and beauty treatments
Skills
- Proven experience in hairdressing with a strong portfolio of work
- Knowledge of store management practices is desirable
- Skilled in barbering techniques for diverse client needs
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience in front desk operations and appointment management
- Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment
- Proficiency in eyelash extensions and makeup application is advantageous
- Strong upselling abilities to maximise service offerings and retail sales
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Creative flair combined with professional demeanour and interpersonal skills
Pay: £24,420.00-£51,945.53 per year
