As a local building contractor we have been established over 20 years operating within Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding area (approximate 20 mile radius) and are currently looking for an experienced General Building Labourer (approximately 5 years experience) to work Monday - Friday 08.00-16.30.
It is essential the candidate has experience working onsite within the building industry with a good understanding of building materials and the needs of other tradespeople. The role will include undertaking collection and deliveries, small plant loading and unloading, and towing. Experience in this field is preferred, however training can be provided.
You will need to be reliable, consistent and able to work competently both by yourself and in a team with efficiency, enthusiasm with an adaptable approach to your work.
Good communication skills are required with colleagues, customers and other persons you come into contact with on a day to day basis. It is also important, to maintain a positive attitude, be a team player and willing to assist in other duties as required.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Please note the salary range is dependent on employment status (employed or self employed ) and experience.
