Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Baristas to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee/chaii and customer service, ensuring that every beverage is crafted to perfection while providing an exceptional experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are adhered to during food preparation and serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders
- Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team
