Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire and Security Senior Engineer/ Manager to oversee the safety and security operations across our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive fire safety and security systems to protect personnel, assets, and property. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with a background in construction and system design to lead our safety initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage fire safety and security policies in accordance with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of fire detection, and security systems across multiple sites.
- Monitor system performance continuously, troubleshoot issues promptly, and oversee repairs or upgrades as necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, drills, and system updates for compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire alarm / security installation / maintenance and system design related to fire safety or security systems.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards pertaining to fire safety and security.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams or contractors.
- Relevant qualifications in fire safety management or security system design are desirable.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to address complex safety challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with internal teams and external partners. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and security within a dynamic environment.
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
