Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and well-maintained for both staff and visitors.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including office, rooms, restrooms and common areas.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors to maintain a tidy environment.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Maintain an organised supply of cleaning materials and report when stock levels are low.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting or moving equipment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new techniques in cleaning practices.
