Job Summary
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Folders. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in fabrication and metalworking within a dynamic manufacturing environment. All training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with the folding and shaping of sheet metal components according to specifications
- Operate hand tools and tooling safely and efficiently under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist experienced team members with mechanical tasks as required
Skills
- Basic understanding of fabrication, grinding, welding, and sheet metal work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools and tooling is advantageous
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills in a team-oriented environment
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions diligently
Starting salary will be reviewed on completion of probationary period.
Shifts available:
- 7.30am to 4.45pm – Monday to Thursday & 7.30am to 12.30pm on a Friday - 40.00 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday - 6.00am - 18.00pm - 46 hours per week
