Salary: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour
Hours: 20–40 hours per week (including evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis)

The Role
As a Care Support Worker, you will support individuals to remain independent in their own homes by delivering high-quality personal care, practical support and companionship.
You will work as part of a supportive team while promoting dignity, choice, respect and independence at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
- Supporting with medication administration (following training).
- Assisting with mobility and safe moving and handling.
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration.
- Supporting clients with shopping and attending appointments.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with household tasks including cleaning and laundry.
- Maintaining accurate care records using electronic care systems.
- Reporting concerns and safeguarding issues promptly.
- Working in accordance with CQC standards, company policies and care plans.

Desirable
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, care homes, supported living or healthcare.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one).
- Medication administration experience.
- Moving and Handling training.
Right to Work & Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to provide:
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK (British/Irish passport, visa, share code or other acceptable Home Office documentation).
- A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two satisfactory employment references, including your most recent employer.
- Proof of identity (valid passport or photo driving licence).
- Proof of current address (dated within the last 3 months).
- National Insurance number.
- Evidence of qualifications and relevant training certificates (where applicable).
- Full employment history with explanations for any gaps in employment.
- Occupational health declaration where required.
Driving Requirements
Due to the nature of domiciliary care:
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.
- Access to a reliable vehicle is desirable.
- Mileage allowance may be available for drivers.
