Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and care to individuals, particularly children, ensuring their well-being and development. Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Engage with children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of progress and any incidents that occur during care.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals involved in the care process.
- Drive to various locations as required for activities or appointments related to the children's care.
- Utilise IT and current company online systems for record keeping and reporting purposes as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults.
- Familiarity with developing and following care plans is advantageous.
- A valid driving license is preferred for transportation purposes.
- Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and communication tasks.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others in their daily lives.
