Main Purpose of The Role:
The Partner Finance Audit team of approximately 16, are responsible for conducting stock and debenture audits at customers sites at least monthly. Need to verify the presence and status of all the finance vehicles, working with the customer and Partner Finance Asset team to confirm status and support in resolving issues that may arise. This role, reporting into the Finance and Operations Director, will manage a regional audit team of approximately five auditors, involving close contact with Partner Finance customers to ensure the audit programme is completed correctly and will be the lead person managing recovery situations, including the recovery of Keys, V5’s and vehicles recovered back to BCA sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage their regions audit programme to ensure monthly compliance and are completed as efficiently as possible, with the minimum driving time between audits
- Line manages the team of auditors
- Monitor audit procedure compliance with auditing of teams results
- Implement and strictly enforce the Stock Audit Procedure as defined by Partner Finance Credit and Risk management.
- Communicate clearly and constructively with Partner Finance customers.
- Conduct own allocated audits, focus on large or risk alerted customers
- Implement special instructions according to the Risk, Asset & Credit departments requirements in the event of serious issues being identified.
- Communicate all issues immediately to the Risk, Assets & Credit departments, reporting back whenever required, according to the procedure
- Lead all collection activities within their region, liaising with partner finance and other CAG teams to ensure collection and holding of keys and V5s and the recovery of vehicles back to BCA sites
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Valid Full UK Driving Licence
- Good self-discipline, organizational skills and able to self-manage, ability to focus and adapt to achieve objectives
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable dealing with customers including handling sensitive situations impacting BCA’s credit risk
- Good judgment and discretion are required when attending distress situations and dealing with customers in default
- Previous stock auditing or collection experience is essential
