Motorhome / Caravan Technician Wanted
P & P Campers are currently looking to recruit a semi-experienced Motorhome and Caravan Technician to join our busy workshop team.
If you come from a kitchen fitting, boat fitting, plumbing, electrical, or automotive background, we would be very interested in hearing from you.
P & P Campers are a well-known company within the leisure vehicle industry, and we are looking for a Habitation Technician to join our expanding team at our Gosport site.
You will be expected to work to high standards of quality and will have the opportunity to work on all makes and models of motorhomes and caravans.
Responsibilities Include:
- Habitation servicing
- Accessory fitting
- Fault rectification and repairs
- Gas testing
- Electrical testing
- Damp testing
- Kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom fitting
- Plumbing work
It is not essential to be skilled in all of these areas, as full training will be provided.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering above minimum wage pay, depending on experience, along with job security within a well-established family-run business that has been trading for over 40 years.

As a semi-experienced Motorhome / Caravan Technician, you will work towards carrying out the following duties.
The Role
You will work hands-on across a variety of installations and vehicle enhancements. From solar systems, split-charge units, lithium battery upgrades, bike rack and awning fitting, etc., as well as general PDI inspections, your role is essential in ensuring our customers drive away with a fully equipped, high-specification campervan or motorhome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, wire, and test 12V and 240V electrical systems
- Fit solar panels, batteries, inverters, chargers, lighting, and control systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and issues
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical specifications
- Work collaboratively with the conversion and sales teams
- Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and workmanship at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of both 12V and 240V vehicle electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Flexibility to work 1 in 3 Saturdays during peak trading periods
- Working 5 out of 7 days, or approximately 1 Saturday per month
