The Liphook Equine Hospital is a world-renowned, fully equipped, state-of-the-art equine referral veterinary hospital providing 24 hour specialist clinical care to horses, ponies and donkeys referred from our own practice and from veterinary practices across the UK. In addition to the hospital itself the business includes a large team of mobile veterinary surgeons providing veterinary services away from the hospital and an onsite specialist equine laboratory.
We are looking for an accounts administrator to join the practice on a 6-month full time fixed term contract. You will be working as part of our highly client focussed finance team helping with all aspects of the accounts function.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years office experience, ideally in a financially oriented role with good business administration skills and a high level of numeracy and attention to detail. You must have excellent communication skills both written and over the phone and be experienced in a customer service environment. The role will involve a great deal of time on the telephone and candidates must have an excellent telephone manner and an exemplary attitude to customer service combined with the ability to stay calm under pressure. The successful candidate will be computer literate, very well organised and comfortable working in a busy office environment and as part of a small team. Experience in an accounts and/or a customer service environment with credit control experience desirable. Knowledge of horses and/or veterinary practice would be of interest but is by no means essential.
The role is based in our state-of-the-art equine hospital in Liphook, Hampshire. Due to the rural location own transport is essential.
