We're looking for an
Electromechanical Field Engineer to join our team at
Graduate / Entry Level. This role benefits from out
9/75 working pattern giving you every other Friday off.
The successful candidate will be provided with extensive specialist training and career development. This will be provided at a
Royal Navy Base in Faslane, Helensburgh and will include short periods in other areas of the United Kingdom.
Skills developed through specialist training will enable you to:-
Work as a fully integrated member of the Waterfront Team; performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and test procedures, on board a submarine and in shore facilities.

Potential requirement to perform contractor sea trials, which entail short periods away on board the platform whilst it is at sea.

Looking to develop to deliver technical training and provide technical consultancy and detailed reports, advising mature solutions to support management, the Ministry of Defence, and other stakeholders to ensure that customer needs are met.

Assist the Waterfront Associate Manager and team in the production of presentations and technical reports in support of customer and stakeholder meetings.

Fulfil a predominantly hands on engineering role, with a possible requirement to travel within the UK and to the US to attend meetings, undertake training, and provide engineering support.

Conduct tasks for the ongoing compliance of lifting equipment which requires Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) certification.

Conduct forklift driving courses to assist with movement of relevant material.

This role also requires that you pass the equivalent of an Submarine Medical and SMERAS training (2m jump into water and a 50m swim, at the bespoke facility).
