We are looking for a passionate, creative, and reliable Nursery Chef to join our friendly nursery team at Bliss Childcare and Nursery School.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for children of varying ages
- Creating child-friendly menus that are healthy, varied, and appealing
- Ensuring all meals meet food hygiene, safety, and dietary requirements
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and fully compliant kitchen environment
- Managing food stock, deliveries, and ingredient ordering efficiently
- Supporting children’s positive eating habits in a caring and encouraging way
- Working closely with nursery staff to accommodate allergies, intolerances, and special dietary needs
- Monitoring food storage and kitchen procedures to maintain the highest safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Assistant ideally within a nursery, childcare, school, catering, or restaurant environment
- Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety regulations
- A passion for preparing healthy meals for children
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- A positive, caring, and team-focused attitude
- Experience with menu planning and dietary requirements is desirable
