Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic 360 Operator to join our dynamic construction team in TW13. In this vital role, you will operate a 360-degree excavator to assist with various earthmoving, loading, and site preparation tasks. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy machinery will be key to ensuring smooth operations and maintaining safety standards on-site. Duties
- Operate a 360-degree excavator efficiently across different phases of construction work, including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the excavator to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Assist with site clearance, trenching, loading, and unloading materials as directed by the site supervisor
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to site rules
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively, ensuring project deadlines are met without compromising safety or quality
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any equipment issues or hazards immediately
- Support other site activities as needed, including assisting with general site duties and logistics
Experience
- Proven experience operating a 360-degree excavator in a construction or civil engineering environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) or equivalent for operating construction vehicles on-site
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
