Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care
Location: Bournemouth
Contract: Variable (Zero Hours)
Shifts: Monday to Sunday – Day & Night shift availability
Pay: £15.50 – £17.00 per hour (enhanced rates may apply)
About the Role
Unity Care Solutions is continuing to grow its established service in the Bournemouth area and is looking to expand an existing, dedicated team of Healthcare Assistants supporting active complex care packages in the Bournemouth area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to join a well-supported team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to children and adults with complex health needs. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to provide care within individuals’ own homes and in the community, helping them to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will provide hands-on care and clinical support tailored to individual care plans, including:
- Supporting individuals with complex clinical needs in home and community settings
- Delivering care in line with personalised care plans and risk assessments
- Promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life
- Working in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilator support
- Enteral feeding
- Deep suctioning
- Epilepsy management
- Manual handling
- Personal care
- Learning disabilities
- Challenging behaviour
- Medication administration
About You

- Work safely and responsibly, following care plans and guidance
- Be committed to maintaining high standards of care
Experience in complex care is desirable, but not essential — full training and ongoing support will be provided.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous.
