EXPERIENCED CARE ASSISTANT / SUPPORT WORKER – HEREFORD

My Health Care Support is hiring experienced Care Assistants and Support Workers to provide safe, respectful and person-centred support in Hereford, supported-living services and agreed local community locations.
PAY
£12.71–£14.00 per hour. The rate offered will reflect relevant experience, qualifications, duties and shift requirements.
THE ROLE
You will help people maintain their independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing while following individual care and support plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing respectful personal care and daily-living support
- Supporting with meals, mobility and community access
- Supporting medication in line with training, care plans and company procedures
- Observing and reporting changes in wellbeing
- Maintaining clear, accurate and timely care records
- Following safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety and CQC requirements
- Working reliably with colleagues, families and other professionals
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Applicants must have relevant hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
- Supported living
- Residential or nursing care homes
- Domiciliary or community care
- NHS, clinical or healthcare support
- Complex-needs or substantial support-worker roles
You must:
- Be confident providing personal care
- Communicate clearly and work professionally
- Understand dignity, safeguarding and confidentiality
- Be able to travel reliably to Hereford HR4 9AP and agreed local support locations
- Have an existing right to work in the UK
Employer visa sponsorship is not available for this vacancy. A driving licence and access to reliable transport are preferred.
