LCC Restorations Ltd is looking for a reliable and hard-working Masonry Labourer/Masonry Operative/Skilled Labourer to join our team on the refurbishment of the iconic Park Hill Flats in Sheffield.
This is a hands-on role working alongside experienced bricklayers and restoration specialists on a major construction project.
Main duties include:
- Assisting bricklayers with all aspects of masonry work
- Installing restraint straps, angle brackets and structural fixings
- Assisting with the installation of windposts
- Brick and masonry cleaning
- Applying sealants and mastic
- Mixing mortar and preparing materials
- General construction and labouring duties
- Keeping the work area clean, safe and organised
Essential requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Experience working on construction sites
- Competent using power tools
- Good practical skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with masonry, brickwork or structural remedial works
- IPAF or PASMA card
- Full UK driving licence
