Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Universal Grinder to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and operating grinding machines to shape and finish metal or plastic parts with precision.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment safely and effectively under supervision.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Learn to use a variety of inspection equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in manufacturing processes. Previous Machine shop experience is prefered.
- Ability to read technical drawings is desirable but not required.
- Good math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude toward skill development.
- Prior experience in machining or manufacturing is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
