Overview
We are a 20 Bedroom 4 Star Hotel seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team, working five days a week. The shift pattern will be a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, starting at 9am and finishing at 3pm approx. The ideal candidate would be able to cover occasional holiday and sick leave for other staff members. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean and welcoming environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Thorough cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Changing bed linens and replenishing toiletries as required
- Organising and tidying spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness standards
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Previous experience in a 4 Star Hotel cleaning environment is advantageous
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively across scheduled duties
- Physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks efficiently over long periods, as well as carrying bags of laundry
