Purpose of the Role
The Marketing Lead is responsible for planning, delivering and optimising Provek’s marketing activity to support sustainable commercial growth across public training, corporate programmes, apprenticeships, digital learning and consultancy.
This is a hands‑on role with strategic influence. The Marketing Lead will own Provek’s marketing channels, campaigns and assets, ensuring consistent messaging, strong brand presence and measurable contribution to lead generation, engagement and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Translate Provek’s commercial and growth objectives into clear, practical marketing plans
- Develop and manage annual and campaign‑based marketing plans aligned to our training services and thought leadership
- Work with the sales team to identify priority sectors and audiences and tailor messaging accordingly
Campaign & Content Delivery
Own end‑to‑end delivery of marketing campaigns including:
- Email campaigns and newsletters
- Website content updates and landing pages
- Social media (primarily LinkedIn)
- Webinars, events and campaigns, some aligned to sector events
Manage content planning and production, including:
- Course brochures, one‑pagers and sales collateral
- Case studies, testimonials and client stories
- Articles, white papers, thought leadership and insight pieces
Ensure all marketing content is accurate, on‑brand and commercially focused
Brand & Digital Presence
Maintain and develop Provek’s brand identity, tone of voice and messaging consistency
Own the ongoing development of:
- Provek website structure, content and performance
- Email templates, visual assets and brand guidelines
- Work with external suppliers where required (e.g. designers, digital agencies), managing briefs, quality and value for money
Sales & Commercial Enablement
Work closely with the Sales team to:
- Support lead generation and conversion
- Create sales‑ready marketing assets
- Align campaigns with live sales priorities
- Ensure marketing activity supports pipeline development and revenue goals rather than vanity metrics
Data, Insight & Performance
Track and report on marketing performance including:
- Campaign effectiveness
- Website and email performance
- Lead quality and contribution to pipeline
Use insight and feedback to refine messaging and campaigns
Recommend continuous improvements based on data and commercial impact
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a B2B marketing role (ideally professional services or training)
- Strong content and campaign management experience
- Experience managing WordPress websites, email marketing platforms and LinkedIn
- Commercial mindset - able to align marketing activity to revenue and growth outcomes
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Confident working with senior stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience marketing training, learning, education or professional qualifications
- Understanding of apprenticeships or regulated education environments
- Experience working with external agencies or freelancers
- Confidence using marketing analytics and CRM or email platforms
