Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 4:00 AM start (No weekend work!)
Must Have: Minimum 1 year of professional bakery experience required.

We are an established family-run business in Reading looking for a skilled, enthusiastic

What You’ll Be Doing
- Artisan Breads & Sourdough: Mixing, shaping, and baking high-quality sourdoughs and artisan loaves to consistent standards.
- Viennoiserie & Lamination: Preparing laminated pastries and Viennoiserie products.
- Production & Planning: Following daily preparation schedules and production plans to ensure smooth morning runs.
- Creativity & Growth: Supporting seasonal product development—we want someone happy to invent new recipes and build new skills!
- Standards: Maintaining clean, organized workspaces and upholding strict food safety and hygiene standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional bakery experience required.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of artisan bread and sourdough is essential. Viennoiserie/lamination experience is highly preferred.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, fast-paced, and comfortable with a 4:00 AM start.
- Attitude: Positive, team-focused, eager to learn, and passionate about quality craftsmanship and detail.
