Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional drinks and delivering outstanding customer service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Greet guests warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Ensure all drinks are served responsibly, adhering to licensing laws and alcohol safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously during busy periods with excellent time management skills
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other consumables
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper recording of sales
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout all activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or a bar environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Personal qualities such as reliability, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills are essential
