Kerr's is growing. Our finance team needs to grow with it.
Purchase Ledger Clerk, £28,000 | Head Office, Antrim | Full time, Permanent
Kerr's Tyres started as one man's idea, to run tyre and auto centres properly, treat customers and colleagues right, and the rest follows. Norman Kerr had that idea over twenty years ago, and he's still leading the business today. What's new is the backing, fresh investment to take that same model and scale it across Ireland and the UK. Every new centre we open means more suppliers, more invoices and more for our finance team to run, which is where you come in.
THE OPPORTUNITY, IN NUMBERS

- Backed by new investment to fund UK and Ireland wide growth
- Farmer Autocare's 21 Scottish centres joined the group in 2026
- Building towards 50+ centres in Ireland and 250 across the UK and Ireland
- Hiring around 20 roles across the Ireland part of the group right now, because we're growing
What you'll do
- Check, match and code invoices, and keep the purchase ledger accurate and current
- Reconcile goods inwards and supplier statements, and monitor monies owed
- Handle supplier queries, set up new supplier accounts and keep existing details right
- Provide accurate financial information
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the group
What you'll bring
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role, with good working knowledge of purchase ledger processes
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, finance systems experience desirable
- Accuracy, an eye for detail, and comfort working to deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication
What you'll earn
£28,000 per year, reviewed annually as we grow, reporting directly to the Group Finance Director.
Where it can take you
A finance function supporting 50+ centres will look very different from one supporting the group today, and the people who join it now will grow with it. If you want your next role to have a bigger one behind it, this is the right time to arrive.
