Job Summary
We are seeking a lively, personable and hard working Farm Hand to join our agricultural team here in Warninglid. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming and a willingness to learn various aspects of farm operations. This role involves a variety of tasks that support the daily functions of the farm, primarily animal care and some equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Be physically able to do heavy lifting and manual labour as required for transporting equipment, harvesting, and general farm upkeep.
- Provide care for livestock, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring their health.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas on the estate-farm.
- Must live on site
- Flexible hours to meet the smooth running of the farm.
Experience
- Previous experience in farming work is necessary, specifically animal care and use of farming machinery such as tractors and telehandlers.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks is preferred.
- Excitement to perform physical tasks and working outdoors is an asset. We welcome candidates who are eager to contribute to our farming operations while developing their skills in a supportive environment.
- A driver's license is required.
- Dairy experience beneficial
