HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Erith/Dartford. This a temp to perm position with the consistency, commitment & benefits associated with “full time work” you can enjoy the flexibility of temporary work, but the security of working for a blue-chip employer.
Summer Rates Available (16/06/2026 – 05/09/2026)
Enhanced rates for new starters and returning drivers. Applicable where the AWR qualifying period is under 12 weeks.
Standard Salary:
- 1-11 weeks - £17.50 - £47.78
- 12-26 weeks - £18.25 - £52.92
- 27+ weeks - £19.25 - £54.92
Shifts: Any 5 out of 7 days, including weekends
Start Times:
- PM: 12:00 – 17:00
- AM: 04:00 – 10:00
- NT: 22:00 – 01:00

Requirements
- HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence – minimum 6 months’ experience
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor endorsements only)
- Valid Digital Tachograph and Driver CPC Card
- Understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive
- Strong geographical knowledge
- Customer-focused attitude
