Duties
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes to ensure timely service
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and safety guidelines to maintain high-quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Help with meal assembly and plating to deliver visually appealing dishes to customers
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to keep the kitchen fully operational during service hours
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and support a positive work environment
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued
