4 on x 4 off Night Shift starting at £55,000 per Year for a Basic 42 Hours
GB Fleetcare is looking for a Night Shift HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician to join our team that supports the Tesco Distribution Centre at Hinckley.
The role involves working a 4 on, 4 off rolling shift, 6pm to 6am, with an average basic working week of 42 hours.
Ideally as a HGV Truck Technician / Mechanic you will come from a time served Motor Vehicle technician background having attained appropriate City & Guilds, NVQ or B/TEC qualifications. More importantly you will have a minimum of 5 years experience of working in a Heavy Goods Vehicle workshop environment.

The Role:
· Carry out routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to DVSA standard
· Carry out a wide range of defect repairs from replacing a bulb to replacing brake discs and pads etc.
· Fault diagnostic and rectification using the latest manufacturers computer systems and tooling
· Complete job cards and service sheets accurately and in a timely manner
· A HGV license is desired but not essential.
