Responsibilities
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and installation
- Install various roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membranes according to project specifications
- Inspect roofs for damage or wear, performing repairs or replacements as needed to maintain structural integrity
- Use welding techniques where necessary to secure metal components or flashing on roofing structures
- Fabricate custom parts or modifications using carpentry, masonry, or fabrication skills to meet project requirements
- Work with schematics and technical drawings to follow precise installation procedures
- Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and construction standards
- Collaborate with team members such as carpenters, masons, or plumbers when integrating roofing with other building systems
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects or related fields such as carpentry or masonry
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for installation processes
- Knowledge of roofing materials and systems including shingles, metal roofing, tiles, membranes, etc.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of plumbing or masonry is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong safety awareness with adherence to OSHA standards and construction site protocols

Pay: £102.60-£262.44 per day
