We are an established, rural, destination restaurant with an excellent reputation for delivering a five star fine dining experience and a bar. Transport links are not amazing so being able to drive or have other means of transport would be paramount.
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Bar & Restaurant Staff to join our team, the job involves switching between both roles sometimes on the same shift.
Successful candidates will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, stocking the bar, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, showing customers to their tables, taking orders, running food and ensuring that all the restaurant rules are met throughout the shift.
This job would suit versatile candidates who are able to work in both bar and restaurant.
The ideal candidates will have minimum two years previous experience in a similar role, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that customers are served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure that all drinks are served in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu and be able to make recommendations to customers.
- Be able to take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Be able to handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
