Duties
- Safely operate flatbed trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring items are secured properly on the vehicle
- Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every trip
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, with a proven track record of punctuality and reliability
- Familiarity with flatbed trucking and handling various types of cargo is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is a plus
- Experience with commercial driving equipment, including flatbeds, is advantageous
- Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps confidently in different environments
