3.5T Van Driver – Part-Time Early Morning Shift (Glasgow)
Shift: 04:30 – 08:30 (Early Morning)
Location: Airdrie
We are looking for a reliable and experienced 3.5T Van Driver to join our team in Glasgow. This is a part-time, permanent role within the aviation logistics sector, offering stability, training, and the opportunity to work with a trusted delivery service provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5T van to transport goods and materials across Scotland and the UK.
- Load and unload cargo securely.
- Complete deliveries on time while following planned routes and schedules.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle use.
- Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.
- Follow all road traffic laws, company policies, and health & safety procedures.
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to provide:
- 5 years' address history.
- 5 years' reference history (employment, education, benefits, or character references).
- Must successfully pass:
- DBS/CRC check.
- Airside ID application (required for aviation site access).
- Driver assessment.
- Previous experience in multi-drop, same-day delivery, or aviation logistics is preferred.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, van driver, or warehouse operative is desirable.
- Ability to carry out basic vehicle safety checks and report defects.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.
