Finance Officer

40 hours per week | Office based
£31000 - £33000 depending on experience
We're looking for a Finance Officer to join our growing team in Epping.
This is a great opportunity for someone with some practical finance experience who is ready for their next step and wants to broaden their skills across accounts.
You'll work closely with the Management Accountant and wider business, supporting:
- Accounts payable and supplier invoices
- Customer invoicing and accounts receivable
- Credit control and chasing outstanding payments
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Payroll and timesheet administration
- Expenses and payment processing
- Month-end finance tasks and reporting
- Resolving queries with customers, suppliers and colleagues
About you
We're looking for someone with around 1–3 years' experience in an accounts or finance role who is:
- Organised and accurate
- Confident with Excel
- Ideally experienced with Xero or Sage
- Comfortable communicating with customers and suppliers
- Proactive and able to take ownership
- Keen to learn and develop
- A positive get-stuck-in team player
AAT or similar is desirable but not essential.
You don't need to be the finished article — we're looking for someone with good finance fundamentals, the right attitude and the ambition to develop.
